MKPA - supporting development and making play safer
Michelle Dady
I have a clinical background and worked within paediatrics for over 20 years. Most recently I was the Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse for Milton Keynes Hospital. My role included teaching and training for clinical staff and also for schools nurseries etc. I found a love of teaching and decided to expand this to teaching First Aid as well.
My teaching style is relaxed and fun. I have a depth of knowledge and experience to draw from and to help support learning. I like to get people involved and ensure they learn what is important to them and not just what is on the lesson plan.
Richard Rogers
I have been a trainer with the Milton Keynes Play Association for nearly 14 years now.
I have a clinical background, as a Paramedic with the London Ambulance Service and other emergency services throughout my working career.
It has been a pleasure to be able to bring my clinical and training experience to help the Play Association.
Along with the Paediatric First Aid, I deliver the First Aid for Schools, Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work courses. In addition, the basic 2, 4 and 6 hour courses.
Throughout my time with MKPA, I have met and trained some fantastic and dedicated members of staff from numerous schools and nurseries throughout the Milton Keynes area. Many bring so much experience and existing knowledge to the training room and we pride ourselves on creating a comfortable and welcoming learning environment for all.
It is nice to see so many repeat customers over the years and I think this is not only due to the quality of training we provide but a reflection on MKPA in its entirety and the dedicated staff and services the Play Association provide.
